This dictionary was edited as one of the national projects of the Republic of China. It is a compiled version of the Chinese/Japanese dictionary edited by the Chinese National Publishing Bureau and the National Education department based on the Contemporary Chinese Dictionary which is famous as a prestigious Chinese language dictionary. It has a vocabulary of approximately 55,000 words and can meet the needs of demanding jobs.

This dictionary provides various sample sentences for each individual word and because of the multitude of examples, it has excellent practical use. It provides more than enough satisfaction for people who use the Chinese language daily in the business and academic worlds and other applications. The dictionary contains approximately 35,000 words which is not only used to simply lookup the meanings and characters of words but also to meet the demanding needs of high-level professionals working in the Chinese language.

Includes a variety of voice data

In addition to the huge amount of text information, you can also make use of voice information that fully utilizes the functions of you computer. This dictionary includes approximately 50,000 words of voice data allowing you to not only use the dictionary for reading and writing but also to easily practice and study speaking and listening to the difficult sounds of Chinese to aid in communication.

Comes with Multilingual display / input application Roboview Ver. 2.0
Roboview allows Chinese and Korean to be displayed. Roboview eliminates garbage characters (mojibake) in documents, E-mail and the Internet as well as allowing characters to display without cumbersome operations such as language code conversions. For example, Roboview allows you to display Chinese and Korean home pages and E-mail with any garbage characters (mojibake) and also allows Japanese to be displayed in English Windows95 / NT 4.0.
Even further, because one portion of come Chinese home pages is created using a special software application, that portion of the page cannot be displayed even if you use the Chinese support kit of Internet Explorer. Roboview will also allow you to view those types of pages.
